She's getting baptized tomorrow!

Please join us in celebrating the baptism of our “little flower” Veronica Therese. My parents will be attending (they are protestant). In fact they had attended the baptism of our last child as well. And I had posted in a different forum that she was being baptized tomorrow and I had not mentioned it yet to my mother. She called me up and said she saw that and had asked, “Well, can we come?” I felt so bad! I forgot to even invite them!! Of course they can come!! I’m so happy that they want to come.

Aw how cute, and congrats on her baptism! I’m just curious, are they of a Protestant denomination where they don’t baptize babies? Only because not all Protestants are that way, so I was just wondering why they wouldn’t want to come?

Really its great that your parents are coming!! While my MIL came to all my kids baptisms, my SIL’S family flat out refused to even step foot in our church, even for her kids baptism. So you are truly blessed.

They are actually Mennonite (Anabaptist) so no, they don’t do infant baptism. My grandmother will not come to anything, although we always invite her. My parents (bless their hearts) have been very gracious and “open” to us as we made our way in to the Church. I am very happy and grateful for them.

The baptism was absolutely beautiful! I couldn’t stop smiling and Veronica was so happy and content.
