Please pray for me. I will be going to dr in morning. I think I have shingles and I’m not sleeping too well. I guess I’m old at age 30! 🤷

Been there and done that and even if there was a tee shirt you wouldn’t wear it . That stuff is pretty painful.:flowers:

Just try to relax and follow the Doc’s meds and advice.

Bless you indeed! I’ve heard it’s awful. I pray that God will send you a speedy recovery.
 
I thank you all for your prayers. I do have shingles, but the prognosis is good! It was caught early and affects very little of my body. I am now on anti-viral medicine and was given a narcotic that I’ll probably take at night if I need to.

I am thankful:
That it was caught early
That it affects a small area on my back (and my wedding dress is modest!)
That I have a decent pain tolerance
That I can unite my pain with Christ’s
That I’ll have been off of the medicine for weeks by the time I get married and
should be pretty clear and the medicine gets out of your system quickly
That it isn’t remotely near my face/eyes
That there are people praying for me!

Saint Anthony the Abbot, patron saint of shingles sufferers, pray for us!

Deep within your heart, O Jesus, I unite my pain with yours. Amen.
 
Lord, please heal ExGratia in accordance with your holy will. May he/she be abandoned to your merciful love full of confidence in your merciful love. Amen.
