Shocked by behaviour of Preist in movie

Just FYI this contains info about the movie “the new posiden adventure” so if you haven’t seen it and wanna know what happens stop reading.

Ok I watched the movie and was totaly shocked by the catholic bishop portrayed in the movie. I just couldn’t believe it. here was a Catholic bishop who wasn’t a pedophile, a hypocrite or someone who turned into a blabbling idiot in the face of danger. How did the secular producers let this one slip through their anti catholic radar with out warning bells going off?
my fav part was when he told the mother “I am, not god” when she was ranting at him for being lost anywho thought i’ll just mention this little “miracle” of hollywood.
 
The recent christian money makers maybe teaching them a lesson.

Yeah? What a pity, i was looking forward to this movie. At least the priest in the first one put a bit of a fight before fleeing ( which i don’t blame him lol)It’s just another subliminal attack on christianity. Just like in this episode of Charmed. where this Preist/ pastor is killed by this demon nearly straight away, only to have the three charmed ones come and and kill the demon easly…Not much on the face of it , but when it is directed at young teens. It’s just another little nibble taken away from their faith, a subtle hint that their faith is worthless etc.+

I just watched the movie and although I liked it, it made me realize that the producers knew nothing about exocersims(darn how do you spell this word) The priest could have called in more qualified experts if needed.

Of course the whole Amityville Horror was a hoax. There are some pretty interesting websites on the house.
 
Not all non-Catholics are anti-Catholic. The positive portrayals in movies show that some directors in Hollywood respect Catholicism to some degree.

Just because he is a priest he can’t be deadly afraid of flies and holy water burning the floor of a house? You people expect to much of them. That guy probably saw The Exorcist and saw how things turned out for that priest, if Satan wants the house let him have the damn house.

Truthfully I say they should of just burned the house down and end it right there.
 
I wouldn’t let him have anything. God’s people have surrendered enough to him by not evangelizing.

Having been part of a team in an exorcism for 5 years, burning the house would have been a very good idea! By doing so, you are not ‘surrendering’ to the Enemy…but you sure know very well, that, they will be gone with the burning. No different, than burning a ouija-board or anything satanic…
 
If the Priest is a man of faith, he will only fear God. The implication behind a Priest running away is that his faith is weak.

I was under the impression that anyone with faith in Christ could cast out demons in his name. :confused:

I’m sorry, it’s just that I only got a D+ in my Demonic Exorcism class in High School, I really should of studied harder.
