Why are you sorry? I agree wit you…and why the sarcasm I do not understand!
Because of your sarcastic tone in the response to mine, quote “burning the house would have been a very good idea! By doing so, you are not ‘surrendering’ to the Enemy” and so forth and so forth. So I was sarcastic back.

 Truly there was no sarcasm in my posts…I do not even know you as a poster… I was being candid. It is a good thing to burn, like I said a ouija board, to get rid of any demonic influence…the house also would have been a good idea…and to probably bless the charcoaled remains…

Chris LaRock:
If the Priest is a man of faith, he will only fear God. The implication behind a Priest running away is that his faith is weak.
And there’s never been any priest ever with weak faith. How unrealistic.

Let alone the fact that hearing the Evil One’s voice and laughter is enough to shake the pants off anybody! faith or no faith. This is not for the timid. It takes a certain kind of priest to be able to handle such a situation…as for any lay people who help in any which way or form.

Oh ahahaha, I misread your first post, I thought you said “by doing so you are not only…” and if that were the case it would of been a sarcastic statement, but upon reviewing I found my mistake. I’m really sorry about that, it was my fault hahaha.

Nah, I treat smilies the same as the shortening of words on the internet like “lol” or any of the 1337 h4xx0r’s speak, I only use them when it’s part of a joke. I prefer to just spell words out, even laughing.

His faith would have to be strong in order for him to take up a life of chastity to go into the Priesthood. 👍

As the sex abuse scandals have clearly demonstrated, there are priests whose faith isn’t strong.

On a different note: who could forget the saintly Bishop of Digne in Les Miserables, whose magnificent lovingkindness converted Jean Valjean?

I agree. Such clergy should be excommunicated. They make things harder for decent clergy to show thier faces in public, and hurt thier Church in the process.
