How true. I remember viewing the video 'The Silent Scream" years ago when I first got involved with the chapter of Right to Life here in the county that I live. It sickened me.

Don’t forget the abortions that occur because of oral contraceptives.
I wonder how many women would take the pill if they knew there was a chance of aborting?
The pill suppresses ovulation. It does not kill an embryo. If this were the case, catholic women would not be allowed to use birth control pills for female problems.

Some types of birth control pills are abortifacient.

RU-486 is. BUT you have to be pregnant. The basic birth control pill PREVENTS ovulation.

Not really true.
You need to read the book by Randy Alcorn: “Does the Birth Control Pill Cause Abortions?”
  1. “From medical textbooks and pharmacy references, to statements from the Pill-manufacturers themselves, this book proves, beyond any doubt, the abortion-causing action of birth control pills. This book should be read by everyone interested in knowing the truth.”
~ Paul L. Hayes, M.D., Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians/Gynecologists
  2. “Does the birth control pill cause abortions? Using research results from medical literature, Randy Alcorn has convincingly shown that the answer is `yes.’ He has, with care and compassion, given us the truth. The question for us as Christians is how we will respond now that we know.”
    ~ Linda Martin, M.D., Pediatrician

Thanks for that link sidbrown!!!

Praying for the innocent babies taken in the name of “choice”. Also those affected by this tragedy.

Sometimes I wish planned parenthood was just one person so I could yell at it to shut up and but out and how doing abortions is murder. I want to do that with the government too, sometimes, but with an added slap upside the head.:o

I like the way you think. 👍

Wow, that is quite shocking. I knew that many abortions had occurred but I didn’t know that the number was that high!

I think that it’s really all on planned parenthood. It’s easy to disguise what you are really doing, and I think it took until now for them to be really exposed.
Catholic colleges seem to believe that it is OK to have ties to Planned Parenthood, the number one abortion provider in the USA?

it is also sad that the media always portrays Planned Parenthood as providing just birth control and women’s care.

Unfornately, the webiste OP linked to displayed the saddest statistics I’ve ever had seen. I feel so dismayed at what it represents.

Where is Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson to decry the murder of 60 million black(african-american if you need it) babies in the Big Apple?
