QUOTE]
Hebrews 10:26-27 "For **if we sin willfully after **
we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries."
Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but
only he who does the will of My Father.”
Matthew 10:22 "And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But
he who endures to the end will be saved.
Hebrews 10:26-27 is talking about people who have heard the gospel and have even claimed to have received it like Judas who heard the gospel and knew the way of salvation and then he has rejected it, there remains no more sacrifice for sins for such a person.
Matthew 7:21 as is warning against false professors.
Matthew 10:22 at first glance can seem to imply works salvation, but we know through other scriptures that it is a free gift. What it actually shows is that their endurance marks them out to be true believers.
OOPS, there I go again with the quote thing.
