Shooting in New Zealand

What he is asking about is why you dismissed the chart above showing who committed fatal attacks because of their ideology.

Members of the public mourn on Dean’s Avenue in Christchurch, the scene of one of the mosque shootings.

Yama and Omar Nabi believe their father was killed in Al Noor mosque attack

Because anyone can make a chart say anything they want and to assign the cause to an ideology is totally subjective.
If a terrorist clearly states their ideology, classifying the attack to that ideology is meaningless?
That makes no sense.

and not about “opinions”
Amen Brother. Pray for the cricket teams too. The cricket has been cancelled, members of the visiting Bangladeshi team were caught up in this mess.

This thread needs to be shut down. Please everyone , again, just stop.

Why do people on this forum always want discussions shut down just because it’s not going the way they want it to?
Some want the thread closed , @CCHcolonel , not because any “discussions” are not going their way , but out of respect for the dead , the bereaved and the suffering in Christchurch and in New Zealand as a whole . Reading the early posts on the thread ought to make it clear what was the intent of the OP .

I am not asking anyone to take my word for it. When 7 entities own 90% of the news sources in this country, funding/support is everything. I have tried to post as much original documentation as I can.

I shared information from about 12 websites actaully. As I have said, I can’t post links here, I think because I am new. What is most important, though, is that we understand the intent of those orchestrating these movements. Correct? How better to understand the intent of those orchestrators, than to read their own intricate, forcefully clear writings that they have been compiling for decades and amazingly in sync with one another. It is not likely that you will get these truths-- remember these are first hand sources–from a media that is largely controlled by less than 10 entities here in the US. That is the last place I would look for truth. With all due respect, no matter how hard you try, one cannot marginalize facts/truth, Sir.

I’m going to risk sounding self-righteous and make a suggestion. Terrorism is not the sole domain of either the far right or the far left-it can occur across the ideological spectrum. We’re not going to reach a consensus as to whether it’s currently more a problem on the left or the right. What we do know is that the killings in New Zealand have resulted in literally dozens of deaths, and many more who are left in grief and/or fear. In the spirit of Lent, let’s ask for healing, comfort, forgiveness, and repose for the souls of the dead.

Amen

A sign at a memorial in Christchurch reads "This is your home and you should have been safe here"

The one dimensional left-right spectrum is useless. The perpetrator was a neo-Nazi.

He wasn’t a neo Nazi.

He was, by his own admission, an eco fascist.

The old terminology were used to using no longer applies to these extremists. It’s a new ideology that needs to be examined properly.
New ideologies are still rooted in the old. They may modify or draw upon different existing ones.

He can call himself whatever he likes but he still harbours neo-Nazi views. He believes Roma and Jews should be removed, supports racial segregation and fuses Germanic paganism with Christianity (as if they’re compatible).

Yes I think this is true and pretty obvious why such a rush to label people right wing extremists is dangerous and politically motivated. It is more easily done because of a politically correct mindset that has been rolled out in state education and supported by a mainly left wing press that has lost the respect of large numbers of people.

This process is at the heart of political divisiveness in the West and why people are finding it hard to talk to each other now. We no longer share common values and assumptions nor accept the same historical interpretations.

I thank the Opening Poster for withdrawing the descriptor of the shooter as right wing.

Yes.

Is it also true that in his manifesto he derides Conservatism saying he wants no part of it because it underpins corporatism and goes on to say that the government which closest reflects his politics is the People’s Republic of China?

Does he also blame mass immigration for exacerbating his belief of catastrophic Climate Change?
