Apparently it’s hateful to remind people the left/right as it’s being used in this thread (and most of the media) comes from pre-WW2 Germany (and to a degree, Western Europe).
We shouldn’t use the term right-wing to refer to a neo-Nazi or white supremacist anymore, unless we’re using it in the context of pre-WW2 Western Europe, as it conflates modern-day conservatives with racists and fascists and causes right-wingers to need to defend theirselves in a situation where they shouldn’t, because the person wasn’t any where near a conservative.
When you label this evil person as right-wing, your indirectly saying that modern conservatives (who are the modern day right-wing) wanted this person to do this, or support it in some way. It’s insulting, honestly.
