The authorities in my local country shoot stray dogs.

I’m not sure what they do with the dead body after that. I believe they dispose or bury it.If they’re healthy they could donate the meat to a food bank.![]()
I would suggest instead shooting the people who turn them loose in the streets.

I like dogs.a joke? or a sarcastic statement? >.<"
I’m fairly certain they’d cremate them (cheapest option for biological wastes).I’m not sure what they do with the dead body after that. I believe they dispose or bury it.
Most of us don’t eat dogs here.
But why shoot dogs? I find it a bit cruel.
Sadly, you are correct about how people view animals in the U.S.In Western countries, animals which are commonly used as pets are given a high status. Less than human, to be sure, but close. We are willing to devote a large amount of money to their lives and consider pets to be “part of the family.” By extension, a stray dog or cat is someone’s family member which is lost.
I think in countries which are less affluent, pets have a less exalted status. And the Malaysian solution is not uncommon
If the stray appears to be aggressive, I will defend myself. The authorities in my local country shoot stray dogs.

The law where I live states that animals at large can be shot on sight. If an animal that does not belong to you wanders on your property and is a threat to your property, you can shoot it. You can also collect damages from the owner of the dead dog(s) if they damage anything before you knock them off.The authorities in my local country shoot stray dogs.
