What would you say, wehn travelling to another country (my case, to the US) and at the border - at immigration - they ask you why you are coming to the country, how specific do you have to be in order to not be lying?
Is it ok to just say “to visit friends”? That’s what I have been doing. I also do some volunteer stuff for the needy at a church - not a paid job or anything like that, just helping out sometimes to feed the hungry) and things like that. They are my friends too.
If you say too much they may get suspicious and think you may work illegally. So it’s best to keep it simply and just be a tourist. Is it ok to leave out specific like that? I could say visit friends (many of which are elderly, needy etc but I don’t need to say that), write poetry, enjoy the city… Can the volunteering go under visiting friends, since they ARE my friends there? So i can keep it simple?
