Should a congregant imitate the priest at Mass?

Is it appropriate for a parishioner to imitate the priest by raising his arms with his palms out when praying or singing during Mass?
 
No, it’s not appropriate for the congregant to imitate the priest in such a fashion. But, although it can be annoying, it’s also basically harmless. A parishioner should avoid taking it upon himself to correct someone in the pews who is praying this way.
