Should a former Catholic receiving the Eucharist?

At a recent graduation Mass my brother-in-law and his wife (both in 2nd marriages, both former Catholics, now evangelical and quite anti-Catholic) went forward and received the Eucharist. As a faithful Catholic should I have said something? 1 Cor. 11, 27: Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily will have to answer for the body and blood of the Lord. 1 Cor. 11, 29: …eats and drinks judgment on himself.
