Would it be wrong for an attorney who is a Catholic to help a client initiate a divorce?

Since the Church allows for legal divorces in certain circumstances, it would not be wrong in principle for a Catholic attorney to handle divorces. My personal concern would be that overexposure to litigating divorce cases could corrode someone’s respect for the institution of marriage and could tempt him or her to seek to “win at all costs.” For that reason, I would not recommend that a Catholic attorney specialize in divorce.
