The list of moral issues in the face against Catholic Feminism goes on and on

When one digs hard and reads into many issues of Catholic feminism infiltrating the Catholic Church by chance you even meet a number of Catholic clergy going soft and supporting some of the same issues surrounding Catholic feminism which is really a virus in the Church today. Is it fair to say the biggest drive towards Planned Parenthood today is backed by Catholic Feminist?

Is it so surprising that many of the female Doctors who sit on the Board of Directors at Catholics For Free Choice also have strong influential positions in Planned Parenthood.

They are already excommunicated latae sententiae since they provide material support for abortion. However, it is important that bishops declare this to be true.

The woman who runs this organization once said it is not a membership organization. That it, it is a handful of people sitting in an office somewhere who try to promote abortion, being funded by grants from secular foundations, etc. I presume that by their work for abortion, they were many years ago automatically excommunicated. Agreed! By their very own deeds they have excommunicated themselves from the Catholic Church.

To me they very much fit the description of Cafeteria Catholics.

**There is this sect of Catholicism called Cafeteria Catholics. These Catholics decide for themselves which doctrines of the Catholic Church they like, and which ones they don’t like. The ones they like, they obey and tout to others. But the ones they don’t like, they disobey and then they badmouth the Pope and the Church. This is so wrong, because that’s EXACTLY what Martin Luther did way back during the 16th Century with his so-called “Reformation.”

Martin Luther loved all of the dogmas about the Blessed Virgin Mary, including the Immaculate Conception and the Ever - Virgin dogma. But he jettisoned the doctrine of purgatory taught by the church for 1500 years. He had NO authority to do this, of course, but he imposed his personal opinion on his new church named after him. He called the Pope the antichrist, and the Catholic Church the whore of Babylon. In other words, he was one of the world’s first “Cafeteria Catholics”.

Today’s “Cafeteria Catholics” are no different than Luther, except they don’t leave and start their own church named after themselves. Rather, they very proudly defy the Pope and the teaching authority of The Church delineated in the Catechism. The liberal Catholics love the Church’s teaching on social justice and immigration and health care, but they really hate the Church’s teaching on artificial contraception and abortion. So they, in effect, are their very own Popes, deciding infallibly for themselves what is right and what is wrong. And worse than that, when it comes to voting, they will vote for someone who promotes abortion and contraception as being normal, right, and good.**

I think we should be more informed on what excomunication really is because it wasnt until recently I learned that excomunication doesnt have to be a big official thing, depending on different cases. You automatically excomunicate yourself from Communion with the Church if you are in sin, have not recieved the sacrament of reconciliation and are not sorry for what you have done. Therefor I would say that pro-choice (pro-abortion, if we remove the airs and graces from the expression) Catholics should be excomunacated for condoning abortion, but also they will be forgiven once they have seen the error of their ways and are reconciled with God.

I think another issue often involved here is the idea of scandal and whether you are publicly championing and promoting sin. Websites promoting abortion would count as scandal as I see it.

I always look at the issue of transubstantiation. There are many Catholics who think it is just a tasteless wafer and is symbolic of the last supper. That’s a problem they must deal with (I’m not belittling it either), yet it becomes far more problematic if that person begins promoting the idea to others.

In my opinion, yes, they should be excommunicated. It’s a drastic step, and it’s personally bothersome to me (It’s not a fun and jolly thing to do) but sometimes it’s mandatory.

Pray for them though-never, ever forget to do that.
