Should Catholics learn about Sacred Geometry?

Well I mean a soceital thing. And the church was a big part of society. I’m sure they didn’t make a concrete stand against it. The church does tend to scare people. For example these rock musician who like the devil and horror look. “They are of the devil” christians say. Sounds like a gimick to me to get attention.

My goodness! Run from the witches on their brooms! . You mean “Wiccans” I’m well aware of them. Nothing to be afraid of. Witches are superstition.

In a sense yes, but in a sense very very much no. Recall St. Michael is so named because of scornfully asking Lucifer “who is like God?” as he threw him out.

We are to strive to become like God in many ways (in goodness and in aligning our wills to His), but we are never to strive to become “our own gods.” God will always be above us and our God, nothing else is possible - we cannot become our own source of being or our own ultimate end.

What do you think Paul was talking about in corinthians when he said that which is in part will be made perfect? That’s not an exact quote btw.

They can not chase every idea that is perverse.

We see that as perverse now. But the church still believes in “witches” and teaches about it. I don’t want to sound anti-catholic here because that is my faith but I am being blunt and open. The church is the oldest and probably most superstitious organizations around. Personally I will not let anything including the church or anyone else “scare” me into following because God is not the author of fear. There is a group called “wiccans” that were the original native religion of the goths. Simple much like Jesus himself. No big frills. When the missionaries came these native had to be “converted” and that’s how these fears start. Does this make sense? It’s alot like conquoring.

I hear you. However, the Catholic Church stopped burning who they believed to be witches a while ago. This is not to excuse them from the fact that they did, and other christians did decide who was a witch and burned them alive.
Thanks to science, we know there are no witches. There is a problem that many were burned alive that were burned to death because the all knowing Catholic Church of truth decided to burn them alive along with other christians.

The only thing that you mentioned that I knew was the Fibonacci sequence. It is an extremely interesting mathematical phenomenon. That’s it. But, Crisp, don’t beat yourself up too much, after all, God made math, too!

I personally watch Spirit Science as well, and I know that he is primarily a semi-New Age “theorist” as he likes to call himself. He says that he is not doubting any other belief, but rather he is just stating so possible metaphysical theories. I enjoy watching some of his videos, but keep in mind that some of the videos are “incorrect.” We as Catholics do not believe in past lives, and we believe that astral projection can open us up to false beliefs, though some things are not written in the Catholic dogma, like the beliefs of chakras and aliens (his video on Atlantis). What I do is I think about what he’s saying and make it into a way that I can understand as a catholic. Like “consciousness” is actually another term for God. Sacred geometry, however, is a topic that confuses me (and not just because of the math:hypno. It is hard to think about how sacred geometry could transfer into the Catholic dogma, but nobody really knows but God! We have to think about our beliefs over Spirit Science’s. Maybe God did use sacred geometry to make the universe, because we can see sacred geometry in ancient civilizations’ paintings, but be careful what you believe, because we really don’t know.
