You need to realise that of all the senior members of the BNP, only one of them doesn’t have a criminal record for violent or racist offences, and that’s the leader of their youth wing. That’s because they had to draft in someone who was squeaky clean after the last youth leader was filmed giving Nazi salutes and saying he worshipped Hitler.
A BNP rally was the trigger event that caused the Bradford race riots in 2001. When a white teenager was murdered by a group of asians in Glasgow in 2006, the sick BNP showed up to exploit the situation, despite being told by the dead teenager’s parents to stay away.
In doing some more research on this, to try to convince MrSmith732 of the reality of their Fascist agenda, I also discovered some things that make my original argument completely pointless.
The BNP are in favour of compulsory sterilisations and abortions for disabled babies.
The BNP wish to encourage a revival of Britain’s folk traditions, including the teaching of our folk rituals and myths in schools, i.e. they want a revival of Celtic Paganism.
The BNP wish to ‘re-unify’ Britain and Ireland (in other words invade, conquer and subjugate Ireland yet again).
The BNP would outlaw inter-racial marriage.
The BNP favour a ‘radical reduction’ in the numbers of MP’s in parliament. They don’t make it clear whether this would be done by changing the electoral rules or just by locking up all the opposition MP’s.
Basically, yes, they are fascists.
Even if they’re better at hiding the more obvious brutality of their views now than they used to be, they are still the same old scum.
Which raises a more general point about politicians. It’s important not only to listen to what they say (any politician addressing a large group of Catholics will say they are pro-life) but to what their record is, and what they will likely do. Can all those people who voted for Bush for his pro-life stance point to a single abortion that’s been prevented by his administration?
