Should Christians own

At Strugis one of the bars there is run by christians and they have church at the bar on Sunday. Quite cool, its broadcast in and outside areas and heard on the front street. Mind you its not a preacher most have seen before

With respect, I think this is irrelevant. Would Jesus have a full-time job? A pet? An automobile? Student loans? A hobby?

Many things Jesus did not do are not sinful, or even conducive to sin under normal circumstances.

With regards to the OP:

I suspect that, though owning a bar may not be sinful in and of itself, one must remember that, to be successful, a bar must sell drinks. One might be placing oneself in a position to be tempted if one gets a taste of that success, and sees how much money can be made by selling more drinks.

As someone said above, remember the welfare of your customers. You should also remember, however, that some of the best bar customers are that way because they drink too much.

why not? it is a legitimate business selling a legitimate product. Do some people misuse the product? yes. do some people misuse cars? yes, would that make it immoral for me to sell cars? no.
