…even in some small way?
Does it ?
Should we see any evidence that The Holy Spirit LIVES in us after being confirmed …as Jesus promised?
Does The Holy Spirit have or need our permission to be Lord in our lives ?
or are we to figure it out for ourselves and not bother him except for emergencies ?
Is our understanding correct concerning what The Holy Spirit is willing to do in our lives ?
Do we as a “Church” resemble anything that Jesus had in mind when he said: “…upon this rock I will build my Church” ?
When the Holy Spirit prompted St. John the Evangelist to write to the presiding spirit of the Church in Laodicea (Rev. 3: 15)
"I know your deeds; I know you are neither hot nor cold. How I wish you were one or the other—hot or cold !
But because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I will spew you out of my mouth. !"
do we resemble that ?..YES or NO ?
When Jesus said; (Acts 1: 4, 5, 8)
** he told them not to leave Jerusalem; “Wait, rather for the fulfillment of My Father’s Promise, of which you have heard me speak, John baptized with water, but within a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes down on you; then you are to be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, yes even to the ends of the earth.”**
do we resemble that ? …YES or NO ?
Does this post irritate you, or does it give you Hope ?
In either case, does it challenge you ?
