At the time I made those promises I was not a Christian - I was a Mormon.A Christian’s word should be their bond…their word was given freely.

I’m inclined to the view that Latter–day Saints are Christians. I know next to nothing about the doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter–day Saints but it’s hard not to notice that they’ve seen fit to include the name of Jesus Christ in their formal title so that would suggest that they seek to identify with Him, at the very least. But I suppose I could be wrong. I guess it depends upon how one defines and understands the word, “Christian.”PaulDupre;5875726:
Sorry, but yesSorry, but no. These days they are taught to think they are Christians, but they are not. However, I really expected no other response than “no” from most people here (who are not LDS).
Do all Latter–day Saints consider themselves to be Christians or do some prefer not to be addressed as such as has been suggested?
As far as I know the Catholic Church hasn’t formally declared that Latter–day Saints are not Christians. Am I correct in thinking this?
Inquiringly,
