I’m going to try to make it to confession tomorrow before midnight mass, but I’m slightly concerned about being able to be seen for confession, cuz I know where I go there is always a huge line. I’ve already done an examination of conscience, and done what I can to repent of my sin, but in the event I am unable to go to confession, should I abstain?
I remember hearing on Catholic Answers once, that once the examination of conscience has been made and it is sincere, that the sin is already forgiven, and that one can receive Communion if they go to confession ASAP.
