Should I attend my cousin's civil "marriage" ceremony?

I think this can still be addressed but not as a dogmatic condition of attendance. Though that may be appropriate in terms of being the right position to take, it probably won’t achieve the goal. Being supportive and trying to guide further steps in the right direction will more likely bring the couple back into the church.

Perhaps. But would that require a witness and encouragement/admonishment to do so?

If that exists, then attendance might be justified.

Otherwise, make your support with kindness in other ways.
