I have a complicated question. Please help me make the right decision. My cousin is getting married. He has been raised in the catholic church, but his fiancé is not catholic and I am not sure of her faith background. She has been married before, but will not get an annulment for personal reasons, therefore our priest will not marry them in the church. He is supporting every decision she makes. Now they are living together, pregnant, and getting married by a justice of the peace. To my understanding, I should not attend this wedding, is this correct? How should I handle this? I am happy that he has finally found someone and that he is happy, but I don’t agree with the way they are handling everything. Also, there has been a lot of turmoil in the family for similar situations, and things are still shaky, but the family is starting to talk and attend functions and holidays together again, and if I or my mom say anything, I fear more family fights and destroying the relationship I have with my cousin. I will offend his fiancé, and he will side with her. I am very conflicted, please offer some guidance.

Thank you!
