Should I attend the civil marriage ceremony of my son?

My son is 22 and has been engaged to his fiance for 2 years (she is the same age). She is not Catholic but at one point agreed to raise any children in the Faith. He is the one now expressing doubts about his Catholicism. He also doesn’t think the Church should charge so much for marriage classes, fees for use of the church, etc. They both are working buy struggle financially. He wants to get married and says he may one day get married in the Church but he isn’t ready to do that and he just wants to get married and have a family. I have issues with his premise, of course, but bottom line is he is an adult and making this choice. I do not dislike his fiance. She is a good person and , I believe would be open to becoming Catholic at some point. How do I handle this situation? Does the Church even acknowlege a civil ceremony? Can I attend.
