Should I attend this ring blessing?

I have a received an invitation to a wedding in Austria. The bride of the couple is a divorcee and yet they will receive a “Ring Blessing” by a catholic priest on their wedding day at a Catholic Church. I feel this is a scandal and I feel I should not attend this wedding. Please advice if I am right not to attend or would I be uncharitable.
I wanted to tell the couple that they should not do that but the invitation cards were already all out and so I kept quiet which again I feel I should not have done. Please advice what is right in this case as I am confused and troubled. Thank you and may God bless you and your team. Helga
