I would not advise one to do so…

Particularly in our current cultural debate…I think it would be giving approval of the radically disordered situation…normalizing it.

We need to be loving …but it is love with truth.

Also on another aspect:

There is a big difference in say … a nurse at a hospital taking care of the sick child of such a couple…(such is the authentic medical care “of the child”) and sitting for the couple so they can get out without the child…in families this means often that Mom and Dad want to get out for a night out together…see a movie go to dinner…focus on their marriage. Even if such is not always the case…once one does sit for them…such “date nights” will occur.

I am a college student who baby-sits a lot in my community, and was asked by two “wives” to baby-sit their child. I would like to say yes-- the child is obviously innocent and has nothing to do with the situation so I see no problem in baby-sitting him. But I am not comfortable with the women’s lifestyle, so would I be condoning it in a way by sitting for a same-sex household?

(though you may need to take care how you decline…)

I don’t really see how baby-sitting the child could do any harm. I would give it a try, if you want the work. It’s not like they can get you into a life-long contract. If you feel it isn’t working out, then quit.
