Should I be baptized this Sunday or Easter vigil?

Thanks for the link TimothyH.

No, I haven’t received communion yet. That will be in a week when the Bishop visits. I don’t mind so much because it gives me a bit of time to prepare better. This Sunday will be my last Sunday without Holy Eucharist.

I think this is going to be my last post in this thread, since everything is pretty much resolved.

Thanks again everyone!🙂

The bishop may have reserved confirmation to himself outside of the confirmations at the Easter Vigil. And he mentioned that the bishop is coming this month, so the wait is not so long.
Those are, indeed, possibilities. I asked because the norm is that when a priest baptizes an adult he would normally confirm them at the same time.

Make sure to make one final post and tell us how your Confirmation and First Communion go! Would love to hear how it goes, and your experience with the sacraments.

That’s how it is in our Diocese, as well, except when there are unusual circumstances.
