You could just give it up during Advent and see what you think of it afterwards
This much, at least, is hard to argue with.Weebs are cringiest people on earth,
Whelp, no more Nintendo or Pokémon then…But their popular media, at least what tends to make it to the west, is cancerous to the soul.
I guess I gotta burn my books on Bonsai now…You said ‘avoid anything Japanese’, not Japanese media.
It could be that the show is particularly morally questionable, but it could also be that OP is overthinking it and toeing the line of scrupulosity.By the length and detail of the post I think that if the op has to ask this question then there is a problem and the op should move on from a show that is causing moral strife.
No, if he’s overthinking things and trending towards scrupulosity the answer is to back away from that type of thinking, not feed it by assuming that it must be correct and he needs to avoid something potentially harmless. And either way the problem is solved by not watching it!
So here’s your opportunity to clarify. You meant ‘Avoid Japanese popular media’ and not all things Japanese. Is that correct?aroosi:
Never said otherwise. But their popular media, at least what tends to make it to the west, is cancerous to the soul. Weebs are cringiest people on earth, and it’s better to avoid such content all together. . . .Japanese people are loved by God as much as anybody else in the world
Obviously. I drive a Toyota, I’m sure their food is appealing to some. You meant ‘Avoid Japanese popular media’ and not all things Japanese
