Should I be worried?

I just got home from church, and when I went up to the alter the church was busy so I guess the priests were in a rush. The priest gave me two breads, he gave them to me as “together” and he was looking up so I assume he made a mistake, however once in my hand it was two. Now being me, I just took both but I remembered that your only suppose to get one, once a week. I couldn’t just say, “you gave me two” it would have been weird. So the question remains, should I be considered?
 
No need to worry. Even though you were given two hosts, it still counts as one reception of the Sacrament. St. Therese recounts an event whereby she was praying for a sign from God, and when she went to receive the Eucharist, the priest gave her two hosts, which she understood as a good sign from God.

Once, contrary to my usual custom, I felt troubled when I approached the Holy Table. For
several days there had not been a sufficient number of Hosts, and I had only received a
small part of one; this morning I foolishly thought: “If the same thing happens to-day, I
shall imagine that Jesus does not care to come into my heart.” I approached the rails. What
a joy awaited me! The Priest hesitated a moment, then gave me two entire Hosts. Was this
not a sweet response ?

Actually you can receive Holy Communion up to twice a day if the second time is during a Mass that you participated in from beginning to end. The amount of hosts received (we do not refer to the hosts as bread at this point as the bread has completely changed into Jesus’s Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity) at one time only counts as one reception. So, no worries. You did good! 🙂
 
Perhaps the priest was trying to use up the excess hosts. Of course, they usually are reserved in the tabernacle, but if it was intentionally done, then there may have been a reason to have the extras consumed.
 
The first time I went for communion after my baptism I got two of the host and I just took it as a sign that Jesus was welcoming me into the church.
