Should I confess participating in this marriage?

Years ago I was my best friend’s Best Man.His first wife a Catholic, had died and his new wife was a divorced non-Catholic…I am not sure if I had ever confessed this which I now believe to be serious sin…should I confess next time I go to Reconciliation?
