Should I confess this for a third time?

Several years ago, I helped a friend obtain an abortion out of what I thought was charity. I know I should not have. I have confessed this twice already and I still feel remorse. I feel like confessing for a third time. What should I do? Any advice? And is abortion forgivable once confessed?

Yes, abortion is a forgivable sin; no, you should not keep confessing it. If you have already confessed this sin in sacramental confession, then to continue to confess it again and again may indicate doubt in God’s ability to forgive you. Rather than continue to confess this, trust God’s infinite love and mercy. You might also wish to seek post-abortion counseling to assist you in forgiving yourself.
