I lost my father at a young age, so I went through most of my life without him. recently, my sister and aunt consulted a medium. I too went to see her, and now I regret having done it. I feel I left with much negativity and toxic thoughts about my current life. I was expecting to just connect with my father, which is wrong in the Catholic faith, but I miss him. Some of the things said sounded just like what he would say; but what concerns me is that he feels I should not marry the person I am with because of financial concerns he has and the ability to be stable myself. The medium said I must go to a special event (that was described) where I am supposed to meet the guy he wants me to meet and should end up with and to trust him on this. This conversation put a lot of negative thoughts in my head making me think this was my father really talking to me. What do I do with all of this?
