Should I forgive my enemies?

I was visiting a friend this weekend and when I got back to my car I noticed a window was smashed. I called the police and the officer told me this was the fifth time tonight in the same neighborhood, probably by some teenagers.
I feel angry at them for doing such a stupid action. Should I forgive them? Even if they don’t ask for forgiveness?
I’m trying not to be angry and looking at the bright side (at least it was only one window ).
