Hello all. I have a quick question. I got a txt message that says:
"When you reach the end of your rope
you will find the hem of his garment…
im not breaking this one
this is ABSOLUTELTY beautiful
i would rather live my life as if there is a God,
and die to find out there isnt, than to live my life
as if there isnt, and die to find out there is.
you are my 8 in 8 seconds. i am not breaking this…
no way! IM TOLD THIS WORKS!!
Bishop T.D. Jakes “8 second prayer.
just repeat this prayer and see how God moves!
Lord, i love you and i need you. come into my heart, and bless me, my family, my home, my finances, and all of my friends. in Jesus’ name. Amen.
pass this message to 8 people (EXCEPT YOU AND ME)
you will recieve a miracle tomorrow!
i HOPE that you don’t ignore.”

Well, what do you think? Should I send it? I’m thinking no, because of the “you will recieve a miracle tomorrow.” Although the prayer seems nice. So what do you think?

Just searched about this Bishop T.D. Jakes. He is a pastor of The Potter’s House, a nondenominational megachurch in Dallas. Seems kind of fishy to me.

It’s just a version of a chain letter and that equals superstition. Don’t send it. I’ve seen versions supposedly forwarding a prayer from St. Therese - just as superstitious.

It clearly wants to evoke an emotional response, but like all chain letters, its usually to plant cookies on your computer.

Delete it.

There are much more beautiful prayers and devotions in the church. This is simply promoting and trying to get you to promote another church. I would delete it.
