It was neither fish nor fowel in the program I was in… like your dorm life was in the seminary, we drove our cars (or in my case took the bus!) to the college on the other side of town.
An actual college program IN a seminary would be preferable. There are some places that have it, I think I would have liked that far better.
If you are supposed to become a priest, going to college is like putting God off. I say pray about it and if you still think you are supposed to be a priest or you want to discern you should go to the seminary. What do you have to lose? If you decide to leave your credits might transfer to another college. Besides, you have plenty of time for school. You don’t need something to “fall back to”. I say talk to a priest or vocations director.
