just as an aside…it’s interesting how husbands say…‘go honey–i’ll watch the kids.’ uh…you helped make them, last time i checked --they were our kids. lol but, i say nothing–just interesting that other husbands say similar things to their wives.
I remember someone asking my SIL, whose kids weren’t with her, if my brother was “babysitting.” Her reply: “Um, he’s their DAD. In his case, it’s called PARENTING.”
Great line. Lucky me, my husband loves it, too!
I remember the guy who played BJ Honeycut on MAS*H (Mike Farrell?) had his kids on the set with him. When asked why they were with him that day, he said, “We flipped a coin…and I won!”
I am planning my trip for the end of April!
I am definately going to have to psych myself up to go. Between leaving the little guy and having to FLY there, I might need a sedative!
My five year old wont mind me being gone, she is a Daddy’s Girl through and through.
