Have you ever been to a FOP? I am assuming not. Our Lord is not exposed during FOPs, however, anyone attending can go to the Adoration Chapel for one-on-one time with Our Lord.

And no, FUS does not teach heresy.

The orans position is not a prescribed position for the laity in liturgical prayer. If you find it to be of personal spiritual benefit to raise your hands in the air, or in the orans position (there is a difference), or standing on your head, or whatever, you are certainly encouraged to do it in a non-liturgical setting. However, unless you have a physical ailment that prevents you from doing so, you must stick to the prescribed position.

and on a side note, when there is conflict or disagreement, telling the opposing side to “deal with it”, shows that you have no desire to discuss the issue or even be told you may be wrong. Unless you have concrete documents saying you are right (and the individual practice of pre-Christian Era Jews is not a concrete example of what is proper in current Christian worship…otherwise if I show up to Mass tomorrow and stick a knife in a lamb’s neck, it’d be ok), I would expect that you would be open to correction or discussion. Otherwise, you really shouldn’t be posting on a message board which, by it’s very nature, is meant for discussion.

No, I didn’t watch the video, but I assumed that it was simply Praise and Worship music. It’s certainly not my bag at all, but to each his own. I am speaking during liturgical functions during exposition, which I thought is what we were talking about, since this was about a particular event.
