Should I have been rebaptized?

In 1960, I went from the Methodist church to the Catholic church. I was baptised in the Methodist church and then again in the Catholic church. I have been told that this shouldn’t have happened. If this is true, should not the priest that baptised me, have known? I have also been told, that being pre Vatican II, had something to with it. A clarification would be nice. Thanks
