Well for one I will tell you that the Orthodox Church IS a valid Church since it has the 7 valid Sacraments.
That cannot be said of our protestant brothers unfortunately.
As for your doubts, well one has to resolve them otherwise they fester and become like gangrene, eventually one needs to amputate the dead parts.
The Church has one promise from the founder Himself. Last week mass readings are apropos to your conundrum.
He sowed, did it fall on fertile ground or on rocks? And are we wheat or bramble?
See this, that the seed was good it is up to us to discern. There are tons of good resources to learn why what the Church teaches is true. We need to seek, it will provided to us. But one must be willing to do the leg work.
Hopefully in the end your faith will be strengthened and as a result one would become a better Catholic Christian.
