Should I refrain from serving the Lord during this period?

I am in the process in getting my wedding blessed by the Church.

I understand that during this period I should abstain from receiving the Holy Eucharist.
But should I also refrain from other services?
Ushering, etc…

Dear I,

What you really should refrain from is sexual intercourse until you are in a valid marriage. That way, you can go to Confession and receive Holy Communion—and you will not be in a continual state of mortal sin. When your marriage is finally blessed, you will be so much happier for having put the Lord first in your life.
