Should I report a fugitive from the law?

I know a fugitive from the law. He is my husband’s friend who stops by our house and is wanted for buying things with fake money. He has a 10 year old son whom he left at a bar while running away from the cops after the manager caught him with the money. Should I call and leave an anonymous tip about him since he is around our house? Or would it be wrong? Should I just let him get caught?
 
Dear Sonya,

Our first concern here has to be the child. While children need their parents, this situation sounds intolerable for the son. By all means, report the father. No child should be living in such an unstable and frightening life style—to say nothing of the bad example he is receiving daily.
