**I just made my First Confession at 65 years of age. I will be Confirmed this Easter.

When I finished Confession I asked to be forgiven for any sins which I may have forgotten and was given absolution. Now I have remembered two things which I believe/know to be mortal sins. Do I need to go back to Confession or since I was given absolution do not need to do this?

Please help.😊**

Hi,

When one goes to Confession all one’s mortal and venial sins, including the forgotten ones, are forgiven. However, if one remembers any mortal sins later, one ought to mention them the next time he goes to Confession, not because they haven’t been forgiven, but as an expression of his sorrow for them.
