Hi everyone,
Well a few days after I posted the thread my mom did talk to my uncle. She told him it was wrong and that his wife didn’t deserve this. She also told him to put himself in her [my aunt’s] place and how it would hurt him as well. I asked what he said and she said that he just listened and said thanks.
On New Year’s Eve we invited him to dinner again and this time he didn’t show up. I don’t even know what to do anymore-- I guess I should let him do what he wants and suffer the consequences.
And the rumors about my aunt becoming a Jehovah’s Witness are actually true. She was with us on New Year’s Eve. We had a bonfire outside and when it came time for the hugs and kisses, she just left and stayed inside watching tv. I went inside for a few minutes and I saw her sitting there starting at the tv-- it was quite depressing
I didn’t say anything though. I guess the same goes for her: She can do whatever she wants but in the end it won’t do her any good.
