St. Paul says in Ephesians 5:4, “Entirely out of place is obscene, silly, and vulgar talk…” and in Ephesians 5:7 he says, “do not be associated with them.”
So I decided to stay away from (i.e. not associate with) friends who indulged in vulgar talk or such “impure” things. But then, I found very few friends who don’t do these things and now my former friends think of me as being an un-social and lonely guy. What should I do? Is this the price I have to pay to attain eternal life? Or am I doing something wrong? Please help me out.
