Ahem… did I say I thought it wasn’t a big deal? no I did not. I said it was and if it wasn’t adultery it was close.Well, that says right there that you and your friends are quite desensitized to the effect of pornography on our culture. And people wonder why marriages are in trouble??? When such things are considered no big deal by some, then it’s hard to tell when there’s a problem, isn’t it?
My point is that there are many in our culture who do not find this necessarily a big deal and her husband has probably been influenced by these parties. But I would see it as less damaging to a 30 year marriage than something that also had emotion and planned deception (like an affair, this probably happend with the guys from work after a few, maybe a lot of alcohol). And NO alcohol is not an excuse, and neither is peer pressure but something that I believe should be noted.
As for the rest of the post, I agree with you 100%
