Good verse !
The book of Wisdom says also that the visible beauty leads to the perceiving of eternal one ( may be not exact translation )
This life is temporary and in this life there are the images , echos , kind of phantoms , likenesses and similarities , of that eternal one .
The images which gives one the feeling that he never dies !
And one of that images is - the woman’s beauty !
The woman’s beauty is a kind of a preacher !
The preacher which demands the God Creator !
The preacher which demands the immortality !
The power which has some thing from eternity which ‘ sing the savageness out of bear ‘ as Othello says , or like in Dostoevskiy’s puts it - ‘’ the world saving ''power .
The earthly ‘pearl’ ( as we read in Othello and as Thomas Carther has noticed it from the Gospels reflection ) is incomparable with the heavenly pearl !!!
Romeo says : Hang up philosophy ! Unless philosophy can’t make a Julieth !
The way of righteousness , the God’s fearing way , the way of avoiding sin , the way of Godly life and striving for eternity , the way of choosing eternal instead of temporary - is that philosophy which makes a Julieth !!!
I think the best way is to know that by your sacrificing
self – control , by your following of the path of righteousness and withstanding against sin , you are not loosing but winning , you are not sacrificing but gaining .
The path of righteousness and the fear of God in self-control is the path of gaining eternity.
Not passing away joy , not temporary joy , but eternal and ever lasting !
So by struggling with a sin we must use this argument against the devil’s scheming !

“**Turn away your eyes **from a shapely woman, and do not look intently at beauty belonging to another; many have been misled by a woman’s beauty, and by it passion is kindled like a fire.” (Sirach 9:8)
How do I apply this verse to my life, especially in today’s world where almost every woman is shapely and beautiful!
- Mat 5:27 "You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’
- Mat 5:28 But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
- Mat 5:29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it away; it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.
- Mat 18:9 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it away; it is better for you to enter life with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into the hell of fire.
Lust is an extremely dangerous vice, one it is easy to fall into - & it is very nearly impossible to get out of; without God’s grace, it is impossible to get out of. It is better to be blind. Purity of heart OTOH, is much understimated, but has a great reward promised: - Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
We can never presume we shall not fall into this sin - to presume on our strength almost guarantees we shall fall. The solution - don’t get started.

The creation proves about the Creator’s Being , and even calls the religious necessity to existence.
Also the beauty has the prove of God’s Being , the prove which is based on the ‘’ inner joy.’’
C.S.Lewis revealed this prove in some of his works.
So the beauty proves about the Supreme Being by the ‘‘perfection of creation’’ and that ‘’ inner joy ‘’ .

My opinion is, sure, stare away, but keep out the ‘creepy’ factor. I truly appreciate the form and function of the human body, even as I appreciate our capacity for apprehension and perception. It can be done well, and when it is, by all means, appreciate that piece of work!
Just don’t get stalker-ish. Whether male or female, genuine beauty is a joy of the world, and we are entitled to that, since we are indeed part of it, and it helps us feel integrated and glad to exist and that so much variety exists! I recently say a ‘news’ blurb about how ‘Ugly is the new beauty?’ and I must say, nearly every supposedly ‘ugly’ photo of these people was truly charming…not runway bland, but with such human appeal.
If an individual seems a bit unnerved at your observing, simply give them a sweet and gentle smile, that communicates honest appreciation of their humanity, and you’ll be cool, I’d say.

You don’t have to stare, but how can you tell if they are shapely if you don’t look at them? Women are beautiful and are creations of God. Keep your mind pure, don’t fixate on them, especially if you or they are married. You know when you are ok in this regard, if you are honest with yourself.

start praying to God thanking Him for the woman’s beauty and asking Him to watch over and protect her as His child. Bit difficult to lust after someone you’re praying for
