Should I tell my friends I am against Gay Marriage?

Yes. It seems you have grown in your understanding of your Faith, and that you are trying to continue in that growth. You will find that being truthful is key to all you do in life, even if it means that some friendships could end or be strained.

There is no need to be harsh, rude or preachy. If the topic comes up explain that you have grown to understand your faith more and that you cannot support gay marriage. Tell them why and let things fall as they may.
 
Educate yourself so that you may have a gentle answer for anyone who asks, but do not go rushing around looking to stir up atheists with a hatred for the Church. (File that under the caution to avoid tossing pearls before swine, lest they stomp the pearls underfoot and turn on you.)

If the topic comes up, however, do have an answer that is suitable to your audience. A decidedly secular person ought to be given secular reasons, rather than having the issue explained exclusively in religious terms that they will reject from the outset.

I suggest if you intend to discuss it a) do not raise the issue yourself and b) learn how to discuss the matter tactfully.
