Pretty self-explanitory question. I got to public high school, by the way.

It depends. Does your public high school have a uniform policy? If it doesn’t have a uniform policy can you reference your school’s dress code?

I don’t want to give advice that could get you in trouble.

I tend to agree with TriciaF. It’s not really anyone else’s business.

Traditionally, Scapulars are part of a monastic habit that a person wore outside of there clothes to guard over their tunic, think of it like an apron.

Because of Devotional reasons and various Promises from Apparitions, Saints and blessings from the church smaller versions where made for the laity to wear.

Our Holy faith is not a private thing between us and God, we are called to be witnesses to Jesus Christ at all times. However, if you are wearing something else such as a crucifix or other sign of your faith then you might wear it under your clothes. There can be other reasons as well (such as you wear a uniform) to wear it under your clothes.

Remember if you do wear it publicly to observe proper Christian conduct, if you do not you will be a scandal to the Church and your own clothing will accuse you of being a liar.
