Should I worry about the salvation of non-Catholics?

I know a lot of non-catholics ( Lutheran, Evangelicals, JW’s etc.,) and many are good people and appear to be good christian’s. Is believing in God and Jesus Christ and having faith enough? Or is it imperative for them to convert to Catholism to receive the fullness of truth and receive salvation?

DChern,

The following links should assist you in better understanding the Catholic Church’s teaching of extra ecclesiam nulla salus, “outside the Church there is no salvation,” and what that means for non-Catholics. The first link gives the Biblical explanation of what is necessary for salvation. If you have any further questions or concerns that are not answered by these links, please contact Catholic Answers directly.
