Should I worry about this?

This is an issue I have dealing with germs.

It is hard to deal with.

I try to keep myself, especially my hands, as clean as possible. Sometimes, it’s like I can’t continue an action unless my hands are clean.

Like reading a library book, I can’t open or hold the book unless my hands are clean because I don’t want other people who use it to get my germs.

I have a thread on the same subject, but I’ll ask again.

Having germs, (whatever kind) on you. is it a sin?
Using things that others have acces to, (spreading the germs). is it a sin?

NO. Do not worry about this!

Germs are part of life…one is to use of course “ordinary care”…like sneeze in your arm…wash your hands after the bathroom…if you have the flu or something…take extra care (not scrupulous care etc) to avoid giving it to someone…

The key here is live a “reasonable” ordinary way of life…

I encourage you to see someone about this difficulty…and to perhaps resist the urge to “wash your hands” other than ordinary…
 
No its not a sin and it sounds like you have some form of minor OCD.
 
Science has shown that those are are kept too clean actually get sick more often because their bodies have not developed the antibodies to fight off bugs. Some dirt is good!

Use common sense, but don’t go overboard. Don’t sneeze into the book you are reading and wash hands after the bathroom; anything more is scrupulous.

I always told my kids the dirtier they were at the end of a day, the better! They obliged. They rarely get sick.

OCD is not good.

Germs are everywhere and they are invisible. There is absolutely no way of preventing the spread of germs. It is humanly impossible to prevent the spread of germs. Of course it is not a sin. You have ZERO CONTROL over the issue. ZERO CONTROL = ZERO SIN.

My wife grew up on a farm. There are pictures of her as a little kid playing in the grass, dirt, etc. Guess what? She has no allergies and is very resilient to colds and flues.

Remember, germs are all around us. In fact, your body is made up of a lot of micro-organisms. So in short, be reasonable but don’t go overboard trying to make your life sterile.
 
If I touched a dead bird next to my garage. and ended up touching my clothes, self, and house. Should I be worried?
 
Cleanliness is a very good thing because ‘cleanliness is next to godliness’. However, as Advocatus said, if you take it to the extreme (as in your case) then it turns OCD which isn’t good.
 
Don’t worry, it’s not a sin at all, and it’s not a moral issue or grave matter 🙂
 
What if Germs or bacteria. Coming from ANY Source. Gets on Sacramentals. Like The Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel?

Are there any exceptions? for example, A sneeze is ok, but dropping The Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on the ground isn’t?

If there are exceptions please list them all.

God is the Creator of the earth and everything on it, that includes germs and bacteria. Some of the saints would kiss the sores of others filled with germs and bacteria. They loved God and all He created. Nothing was unclean to them. Dropping your Scapular is not a sin. When I have dropped mine, I pick it up and kiss it and put it around my neck. Open your heart and throw out fear and worry. Give them to God and trust Him. Seek out a good priest you trust and take his advice. It’s important that you seek counseling regarding these fears so you can be free. I will pray for you. Remember " fear is useless, what is needed is trust".
