Maybe but the Church isn’t into understanding if it’s the wrong understanding. And deviation from the written Latin is wrong.I thought “one in being” was more understandable.

You nailed it here…yes, bringing God down to our level is pretty much a Protestant thing. And it explains well the SOMETIMES lack of reverence at SOME OF Masses. And that was one of the turning points, wasn’t it? God among us rather than way up there.
Yes, I believe He IS. Take a look around you at creation. How He ordered the Ark of the Covenant to be built. With beauty. Beauty, Awe. Reverence…they all go hand in hand.Come on. Is that what Jesus was all about?
Sacramental grace comes from the sacrament, not the form of the Mass. All that is required for sacramental grace is a valid sacrament. it is totally removed from any man-made elements. It doesn’t matter if the priest was reverent or not, a notorious sinner or not, or whether the choir sang off-key or not.Just because you personally don’t believe extra graces flow from the TLM, doesn’t make you right. Other’s such as Fr. Ripperger here disagree with yo
And you did it in a COMPLETELY offensive way, by taking from a culture that you obviously know little about and making a mockery of an example of a Mass that would have it.I was making a comparison to a 'new liturgy brought in and the near-complete lack of availability/remembrance of the old over a period of 40 years."
And I kind of think you knew that from the question I asked at the end. . .
This is speaking about adorning ourselves…not a place of worship. Does your parish not adorn your Church with flowers, stained glass, beautiful art, etc.?Matthew 6
28And why do you worry about clothes? Consider how the lilies of the field grow: They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was adorned like one of these.
I would reference you to the link I posted in #507 for a different POV.Sacramental grace comes from the sacrament, not the form of the Mass. Or whether the Mass was EF or OF.
